So here I go with my own Blog. I am Laura, mummy to Stephen (6) and Ellie (10 months).
I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog for over a year now and nearly did it when I was pregnant (more to record my journey for when my little one was older). However as I hadn’t done it for my first born I felt I couldn’t for the second…..the joys of two children.
I know most people will be thinking this is another mum blogger, but I am not one for offering parenting advice or giving amazing parenting tips away. As I believe each child/parent is different and everyone figures it out for themselves. I am making my own blog for my own personal use as a way to vent now and again and share some of the up’s and downs of a typical mum’s day. Hopefully some people will read it, maybe take something away from it, a little food for thought or even just a wee smile.
I have only recently became part of the #instamum community and I have found it very comforting and entertaining to see different mums stories and their different takes on their own parenting.
Me and my family “The Broons” live in Scotland and are your typical “Gentlemen’s family” with our boy and girl and my fur baby Charlie. Stephen, is a typical boy and testing my patience just now ha ha. We also have wee Ellie who is coming up for 11 months and already a total madam…she is going to be trouble. My husband and I have known each other for over 20 years, been together for 11 years this year and married for 5 years this July. We have made so many happy memories and more to come.
I can’t wait to get this journey started.
